Our Staff
Each of our staff members is part of a team of highly qualified healthcare professionals with many years of experience in the orthodontic field. You will find all of them to be very warm, caring and knowledgeable. Good communication and understanding are the keys to an excellent working relationship with our patients. Our staff strives to maintain good communication between patients and their parents. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have during your treatment. Treatment Coordinators
Susan Lynn has been in the dental field since 1974, having earned her Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) at Fanning School of Health Occupations.
Terri Bornick joined our staff in July 1996. She received her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with expanded functions with x-ray license at Sacramento City College. Terri has been in the dental field since 1978. She enjoys traveling, gardening, sewing and reading. Terri and her husband Doug have 3 grown children and 3 wonderful grandchildren. Financial Coordinator
Cindy Smith has worked in the orthodontic field since 1987 and joined Kemp Orthodontics in 1991. Cindy specializes in meeting the financial and insurance needs of our patients.
Appointment Coordinators
Lisa Beaulieu holds the record for the longest employee of Kemp Orthodontics. She joined the staff in 1988. She has been in the dental field for 23 years. Lisa specializes in orthodontic practice management. Lisa has been married for 22 years to Mark and has two children, Chase (21) and Morgan (19). They both attend UT Martin. Chase is in the Nursing program and Morgan is studying to be a Dental Hygienist. Lisa enjoys working out at the Franklin Athletic Club, antique shopping, attending Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers football games and playing with her dog “Steeler”. She is a member of Franklin Christian Church.
Jayne Brien joined our staff in 1996 with 18 years of administrative experience and has been in the dental field 16 of those years. She specializes in meeting your scheduling needs and performing clerical duties as well. Jayne has been married to Harold for 33 years and they have four children, Patrick (30), Ashley (28), Jordan (25) and Christopher (21). Jayne is at the end of her third year at Williamson Christian College and is working toward a degree in Leadership and Ministry. Jayne and Harold attend Grace Chapel in Leiper’s Fork. She enjoys walking, running, crafts, baking and entertaining family and friends. A definite Titans and Auburn Fan!
Orthodontic Assistants
Stacy White joined Kemp Orthodontics in 1997. She is a Registered Dental Assistant with an x-ray license and has been in the dental field since 1993. Stacy has a daughter, two stepsons and two nephews. She enjoys camping, swimming, traveling, scrap booking/crafts, baking, motorcycle riding and spending time with her family.
Sheryl Brooks joined Kemp Orthodontic in 1999. She has been in the dental field since 1993. Sheryl is a Registered Dental Assistant, a certified x-ray technician and our OSHA Coordinator. She is from Hawaii and is married to Christopher and has three children, Kelii, Kamalii and Kelani. Sheryl loves a night out: dinner and a movie, swimming, laughing and being with her family.
Monica Gerken recently moved from Florida and we are so happy to have her join our staff. She has extensive experience in the orthodontic field.
Sandy Claibourne has been in the dental field since 1983. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Curtis for 28 years. They have two children, Lee (26) and Chelsea (23), and a granddaughter. Sandy and her husband are members of the Murfreesboro Hot Rod Club and they often show their ’68 Chevelle at Car Shows. Sandy likes to travel, camp and LOVES trout fishing. She caught a 7 lb. Brown Trout 2 years ago. Her motto is to treat others like you would want to be treated not only in the dental office but in everyday life. She is also a BIG Titans/UT Fan!
Vanessa Twomley joined our staff in January 2011. She is originally from New York where she was a Dental Assistant for 8 years. Upon moving to Tennessee with her family she attended Dental Staff School where she received her Registered Dental Assistant license. Vanessa loves the better quality of life she has found here in Tennessee with her family and wonderful boyfriend.
Orthodontic Lab Technicians
Nancy Willits joined our staff in 1998. She brought with her extensive training in the orthodontic field. She assists patient flow and records along with the production of retainers.
Tammy Garrett joined our staff in 2011. She graduated valedictorian from Tennessee Technical in the dental assistant program. Tammy is assisting in patient flow and records.
Paula Drake joined our staff in 1995. She has been in the field since 1978 and received her RDA and x-ray license in 1994. Paula is in charge of the production and design of our specialty retainers and appliances.
Tracy Waggoner (not pictured) has been a member of our staff since 1993. She is a Registered Dental Assistant with extensive orthodontic experience. Tracy assists with the production of our specialty appliances.
Business Manager
Rhonda Kemp has served as Dr. Kemp’s business manager. Her responsibilities include accounts payable, staff liaison, and community outreach.
