I’m very particular when it comes to my teeth. I worked with 2 orthodontists before I met Dr. Kemp. Dr. Kemp actually took the time to correct all the imperfections that were driving me crazy. What a great guy in Dr. Kemp! I am not a patient of Dr. Kemp but more like a vendor who stopped in to discuss a product. Not only was he very courteous and on time with our appointment (something rare in dentists and orthodontists alike), but he even brought me a salad for lunch! Fast Efficient & Friendly!! I had to get braces as a 25 year old knowing my boyfriend would soon propose. Dr. Kemp provided a fast effective experience. If ever I had a loose wire or bracket they always fit me in to their schedule same-day. The staff are all genuinely friendly and both of the offices offer very pleasant environments! My son just got his braces off today, and his teeth and bite look fabulous. In the year and a half we have been going to Dr. Kemp, we have had the best experience. We almost never had to wait to be seen, and I remember one day when they had two assistants out sick, Dr. Kemp walked us back and took care of us himself. There was also a Saturday when my son had a wire break loose, and Dr. Kemp took care of it right away, so he did not have to suffer through the weekend. I often joked that I was “orthodontically challenged” because I had a difficult time with some of the appliances, but he and the staff were very patient and always helped me. Dr. Kemp is an amazing orthodontist and runs a great practice. I had braces as a child, but let’s just say the experience wasn’t the best. Dr. Kemp fixed the “work” I’d had done previously by someone else.
His office is conveniently located just off Mack Hatcher and across the road from the YMCA in Franklin. The waiting area is well-stocked with magazines, cozy chairs, and K-cups of coffee, hot tea, cocoa, etc. For the bathroom checkers, it’s nothing but granite, high end fixtures and impeccable cleanliness; the polish and design that went into this building shows just how much they pay attention to detail.
The building is nice, but the people are what sets the practice apart. His staff are all warm, friendly and professional. From your initial visit and consultation you will be treated as if you’re an honored guest of the collective Kemp “family”. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you feel completely familiar and at ease. The orthodontic assistants are quick, gentle, and skilled. The layout of the operating room means you’ll be in and out in no time; 10-20 chairs are arranged in a circle and then an overflow side area so that space isn’t wasted. Dr. Kemp can go from chair to chair quickly for progress checks and adjustments. It’s amazing how a few quick turns of a wire with tiny pliers can make my smile so perfect –and it IS perfect. The man is good at what he does.
Oh and in case I forgot, he’s also “orthodontist to the stars”. His patients of note include several Titans, Predators, Country music stars, models, actors, etc. People who regularly injure their smile and people who make money with their smile all entrust their mandibular alignment to Dr. Kemp; why not you?

I wanted to say thank you for a beautiful smile. The end result has exceeded my expectations. Over the weekend, I found my original molds taken before my braces were put on, and I marvel at the improvement made during the course of my treatment. I remember being self conscious when taking a picture because of the spaces on my right side, and now the spaces are closed, and the look is so much more enhanced. And due to the head gear, I feel like I have more of an upper teeth presence, which was the look I was after all along. Not only am I pleased with the look, but my bite feels so much more comfortable, and it is such a relief to not have any jaw pain due to an incorrect bite. I could not have asked for a better orthodontic experience and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t give a moment’s hesitation, even over the head gear! Your entire staff has been wonderful to work with. Dr. Kemp, thank you for your commitment to making my smile beautiful. So kudos on a job well done!
